San Francisco, CA – Sheriff Paul Miyamoto announced today that the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office (SFSO) plans to resume enrolling new participants in its Pre-Trial Electronic Monitoring (PTEM) Program following the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit’s opinion upholding the legality of the PTEM Program and vacating a preliminary injunction from federal District Court Judge Jon S. Tigar.
